Weekend Wear: Skater Skirt

Weekend Wear: Old Navy Wrap Maxi Dress

| Dress – Old Navy | Purse – Goodwill | Necklace – Forever 21 | Sandals – Marc Fisher | I know that I said that I was giving up on Old Navy but I saw this dress online and decided to give them another try after reading the reviews.  I am very pleased and happy to report that this dress is a definite winner!  The real test was washing and drying which weren’t a problem at all. I did size down like many of the reviews suggested and I also ordered a tall since most of the reviews stated the regular length dress only fell at ankle length.  I felt this dress would have more appeal if it was floor length.  The only issue I am having is with the deep v I need to have the straps taken up a bit so everything stays in place.  I can’t…

Beautifully Basic

| Peplum – F21 | Skirt – Express | Sandal – Just Fab | Purse – Target | Necklace – F21 | I know the majority of you are still wearing layers and bundled up.  Hopeful my warm and sunny outfit pictures will be a prelude for spring and summer outfit inspiration. All of the items I am wearing are under fifty dollars, as the title states beautifully basic.  I stand by the fact that you do not have to spend a lot of money to look good.  I am wearing a basic black high waist pencil skirt which I purchased on sale for less than twenty-five dollars.  I had the waist taken for an additional ten dollars.  My peplum was fifteen dollars and was taken in for an additional seven dollars.
