| Tunic – H&M | Pants – JcPenny | Shoes – Jessica Simpson |
I live for long flowing clothing: maxi dresses, maxi skirts, long cardigans and long tunics. There’s just something about feeling the movement of my clothing swirling around me as I walk. It’s almost as if I am gliding on air. This H&M floral tunic is no exception, I feel amazing every time I wear it. No exaggeration, I have worn this top as much as possible since I purchased it in May, which is a record for me. Y’all know I usually purchase clothes and get around to wearing them whenever. I found my self reaching for this tunic over and over this summer. It was purchased with the intention of only being worn on weekends. However, what type of “fashionista” would I be if I couldn’t figure out a way to make this semi-sheer top work appropriate?
Retro Vibes
I originally thought I should wear these black ankle pants but that seem predictable. Instead I decided to go for a complete retro vibe and threw on my wide-leg dress pants. I added a black sleeveless to keep everything seamless. Seems like I did pretty well if I must say so. I didn’t envision this top being something that I could transition into fall but I think I could easily make it work one of the few cool days we get this year. You can see how I styled this top for a dinner date.
