| Dress – F21 | Sandals – Ralph Lauren | Purse – Louis Vuitton | As of lately (the last six months or so) Forever 21 has had some really great pieces. It seems as if they may be moving away from being just known as a juniors store. I personally have noticed they are offering more sophisticated items, like this dress, at higher price points. They are known for their fairly low prices so I was surprised to see special collections that were priced well about $100 or more for some items. Either way I’ve been very happy with all of my purchases I’ve made lately. I’ve been looking for a crochet dress for awhile and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on one nor did I want to make one (yep I crochet). This dress is like a crochet/lace mix which I love. I don’t…
| Blazer – H&M | Skirt – Target | Pumps – Guess | Purse – Zara | Last week I participated in the #HERmovment twitter chat on Workplace Fashion Do’s and Don’ts. One of the first questions presented was: “How can you subtly incorporate trends into your workplace attire? My…

Weekend Wear: Hooded Maxi Dress
| Dress – F21 (on sale) | Booties – DV by Dolce Vita | Purse – F21 | As soon as you finish reading this blog post, go and buy this dress! I’ve been hoarding it for a few months (y’all know how I do) but this is a perfect transition piece from winter to spring. The material is thick with great stretch. This dress honestly feels like your favorite pajama dress but way more stylish! I spent a few extra dollars to have the sides of the dress taken in around the bottom for a more fitted look. I almost had my seamstress take in the waist a little bit but I wanted to keep the relaxed look. Y’all know I fully believe in altering your clothes for a perfect fit. This is my perfect version of a casual “throw on dress”. P.S. I am wearing a small. This…

Weekend Wear: Wide Brim Fedora & Mini Dress
| Dress – H&M | Hat – F21 | Boots – DSW | Purse – TJ Maxx | Heeeeeeeey! Long time no see, well not exactly if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook. I’ve missed blogging so much. The entire time I was away from my blog I was agonizing over returning or not. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy my time away. It was nice just being myself and not having to worry about how I was going to squeeze in time for blogging and social media. However, I did actually miss sharing my outfits and interacting with you guys. Soooooooo…that means you guys are stuck with me for a little while longer. So much has happened in the past six months. I trained for and ran a 5K, went on several trips, spent a lot of time with my family, changed up my meal prepping,…
