2017 Trends
Can y’all believe we are almost thirty-days into 2018? My year started out a little shaky but it’s improved drastically.
If you read my closet purge post then you know you know that I love trends. Because the majority of my clothes are for work I don’t indulge too much. However, there are a few trends from 2017 that will be carried over into 2018. One of them being kimonos. I actually fell in love with this one from Zara but it wasn’t in my budget. So I was happy to find this beautiful vibrant kimono from Forever 21 for a third of the price. Don’t you love when you find budget-friendly dupes that satisfy your wants?
Versatility
Kimonos and robes are so versatile! You can wear them with pretty much anything. I’ve styled this same kimono with jeans, shorts and worn it with my bathing suit at the pool as a coverup. I could probably even get away with wearing it as a dress. I’d definitely have to secure it really well so I wouldn’t have any wardrobe malfunctions. Of course, one Kimono wasn’t enough. I also found this very long and dramatic robe on Shein.com and had to have it!

To me a Kimono is a must have I have two for rite now and there in heavy rotation, you can wear them with anything
