I’m sharing #Tide in my life as part of a Tide sponsored series for Socialstars™
If you’ve been following my blog for awhile then you know one thing remains constant, my love for all things black and white. I do enjoy wearing colorful outfits from time to time, like here, here and here. However, I am always drawn to black and white. I’m actually wearing a black and white floral dress as I type this! Lol.
The color combo is classic it looks great on everyone. I went back the Curves and Confidence archives and pulled out some of my favorite black and white outfits:
Do I have an addiction or should I consider this color combination a part of my signature style?
Because I wear black and white so often I am constantly worrying about keep the blacks, black and the whites, white. That’s where proper laundry techniques come into play. I’ve already shared with you guys my grandma’s laundry tips, how to properly wash your athletic wear and today I want to share with you how I keep all my black and white clothes crisp. Guess what, this tip won’t cost you a dime. It will actually save you money on your energy bill.
Cold water in conjunction with Tide® PODS™ Plus Downy®.
That’s it. That’s all I use to keep my black and whites clothes beautiful. Washing your clothes in cold water is more gentle on the fabric and also better for the environment. The great thing about Tide® PODS™ Plus Downy® is they can dissolve in any temperature water.
In most instants when you prepare your laundry you have separate your clothes based on colors: darks, lights, and colors. For me, I do it a little and I add a separate pile for all my black and whites. Because I wash them together I’ve never had any issues with bleeding or fading. Of course hanging your clothes to dry always helps with keeping them colorfast on top of using Tide® PODS™ Plus Downy® which cleans, brightens, fights stains and protects your clothes with every wash. As with any household item keep out of reach of children.
Most people have a signature color or item they wear daily. What is yours? I know someone that won’t leave the house without a neck scarf!
