Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The feedback was amazing from my returning post. I never once take for granted the kind words from all of you or the compliments I receive via social media. I felt really good about my return to blogging and the welcome back I received on Monday just solidify my decision.
Today I wanted to chat with you guys about re-styling summer clothes in the winter. I’ve lived in South Florida for the past ten years so I don’t really keep a winter wardrobe. Instead I have a stash of winter essentials such as faux leather jackets, knee-high boots, ankle boots, light scarves, and tights. So on those rare days when the temperature dips below sixty degrees I just layer up.
Most people in South Florida overdo it when it gets cold. I wear what looks good and what makes sense. With today’s outfit I took a beautiful bright printed skirt and switched out my strappy sandals for a perforated bootie and faux leather jacket. You can check out how I originally styled this outfit for Thanksgiving dinner here.
It doesn’t take much to make your favorite summer piece a winter staple. How are you guys re-styling your summer clothes this winter?
