Instead of sticking to my usual uniform of black and white I mixed things up and threw on my new Express Ultimate Double Weave Columnist Ankle pants (that’s a mouth full). I LOVED these pants until I wore them and attempted to take outfit pictures, there was something that was off about them.
Instead of tossing them into the Goodwill pile I laid them out next to my coveted Zara ankle pants. The lengths were just about the same, but when I laid them on top of each other the Express ankle pants were a little bit wider at the hem. Whew, super easy fix! I took the pants to my seamstress and she took them in at the cuff. I seriously cannot stress the power of alterations and having a great seamstress. These pants cost a cute coin full price but at $15 and another $10 for the alternations I still came out way below retail cost, not a bad deal.
I am also still rocking white post Labor Day, does anyone even follow that rule anymore?

I like how polished and professional you look!
Love it! I'm not big on white after Labor Day – not because of the so called rule though. Because I just never feel like wearing it. Same with bright nail polishes…by time fall comes I'm over it for a bit.
I don't I wear white when I want to! Great look twin as always!! Love the color combo!!
That "rule" doesn't apply to us Floridian! we're allowed! LOL you look amazing!
TOO CUTE!!! Love this look.
There are a few old school folks who still follow that, but I for one will not be! You look great like always.
