Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Style Bloggers of Color Conference at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Miami. I usually don’t do well interacting in large groups, that’s the introvert in me, but I had a fantastic time mingling and doing what style bloggers do when we get together…take pictures! LOL.

My two South Florida blogging boo’s Kerissa and Ashley. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen each other but of course it was like we hadn’t missed a beat.
Of course new friends were made along the way, Olivia being one of them. Olivia traveled all the way from the Grand Cayman island and she walked in serving honey! I loved her locs and her circle skirt was beautiful.
The major highlight of the entire conference was finally having the opportunity to meet my long time VBFF (virtual best friend forever) Inez!!!! Kerrisa, Inez and I were thick as thieves the entire weekend, lol. I swear I didn’t want to go home on Saturday evening but Kerrisa had to head back up North.
Jheanell is a local Miami blogger I met last year at a Naturals In the Sun event, this mama is looking hot after having her son 9 months ago. How cute are her shorts?
There were so many great moments and great laughs shared! I learned so many new things especially during the Picture Perfect photography workshop hosted by Natalie of The Case of the Tiny Closet, she is such a sweetheart. How fantastic is her maxi skirt, her Cali glow fits right in down here in Miami.
The girls and I had a major jump up and down moment when we met Leslie of Fashion Du Jour, pictured above moderating the You.com panel. I have been following Leslie’s blog for about three years and also belong to her Facebook BLM Girls, which is a great place for interacting with other bloggers. Leslie has such a kind and nurturing spirit and I was so happy to finally make her acquaintance.
Last but not least I also had the opportunity to hang out with my style twin and Virgo sister Ariel of Fashion Devotee. Ariel, Kerrisa, Ashley and I had share several laughs over dinner on Friday night, those ladies are too much!
I was sad for my time with the ladies to end but we definitely created some great memories!
