I LOVE Michelle Obama! She is undeniably a style icon for me. Mrs. Obama knows exactly what works for her and is on point every time. I had an opportunity to attend an Obama rally back in 2008 with front row access (thanks to my job). I think I was more excited to see Mrs. Obama then I was to see our future President! Her grace and poise are magnificent, even when she dresses down she looks great. I love how regardless of what anyone says about her style/wardrobe she still does her thing.

Originally I wanted a dupe of her infamous purple dress that she wore to a rally in St. Paul Minnesota, but purple really isn’t my color. So when I saw this dress at JCPenney I figured it was close enough to suit me and I snatched it up. Then the March 2009 Vogue cover came out with our First Lady wearing a magenta dress! I know I sound overly excited but my dress is dang good match. So it will now and forever be known as my Michelle Obama dress. I completed my look by adding a leopard belt, which seems to be my new favorite print.

No you didn't find and almost exact match of Michelle's dress! It actually looks better on you (don't tell her I said it). The reason being is you have curves and she's a little thin…but I do love her!
