I’m sure most of you wouldn’t consider 55 degrees to be that cold at all. I am not conditioned for anything below 60 degrees anymore. I cringe every time my mom tells me how cold it is in NYC. But I do enjoy the cooler weather it allows me to bring out some of my cute winter clothes. Today is the perfect day for my pink faux leather jacket. Faux leather has become so popular; you can get the same great look without spending all that cash. Let me just say pink is not something I would normally gravitate towards, but I loved all the details of this jacket. I am sucker for anything with ruffles…

Happily Thankful

Yesterday I was feeling lonely and kinda sad…but I turned that around last night before I went to bed. Despite feeling down I gave thanks to God for all the wonderful things I have in my life. Yesterday may have been a down moment for me but overall I am truly happy and blessed. I woke up today feeling wonderful and excited about starting my day. I’m a Veteran…

I was a newlywed in this pic! ) | Tank – Target | Jeans – Gap | Sneakers – Nike | Purse – Target | Yep, I was in the Navy from 1999-2003 and was honorably discharged as a Petty Officer 3rd Class.  I had the opportunity to live in Italy the entire time I served, which was an experience within its self. I was able to travel to some of the most beautiful places: France, Spain, Greece, Malta, Turkey, Spain, Isreal, and Turkey just to name a few.  I met the love of my life in the Navy…only to lose him but that’s another post.
