Country Chronicles: part 1

Welp, I am on vacation in NC and I am loving it! My brother’s fiancé gave birth to my niece Brooklynn last Wednesday and if you follow me on twitter you have seen quite a few pics of her already, lol. Of course everyone thinks their baby is the mostly beautiful baby ever born but my niece is absolutely gorgeous! It’s going to be so hard to part with her next week. I don’t usually blog while I am on vacation but this is a family visit. I have absolutely nothing planned except helping with the baby, homework and thrifting. Most of my outfits will be super casual; I am loving the weather, high of 76 degrees today. My brother took my pictures today, he is a rookie but he is willing to learn…by the end of the week he is going to be a pro! Cardigan -…

Fashion’s Night Out MIAMI

I had a great time with Ashley and the ladies of Thierry Accessories.  Ashley and I headed to Macy’s Fashion Night Out events, wine, food and music…good combo for me!  Ashley also got to meet Real Housewife of Miami Adriana De Moura, she was really nice (I had no idea who she was).  We mostly walked around to different stores checking out the Fashion Night Out sales and drinking up everyone’s champagne, and eating their food!  We also watched a fashion show at center court, most of the fashions were from Zara, Ann Taylor, Macys and Cache.  I took tons of pictures but I pulled out my favorites,  mostly the color-blocking outfits.  Macy’s had the most beautiful brown skin models for the Rachel Roy collection, didn’t get a pic =( All in all I had a fantastic time, but my dang feet…

The Great Outdoors

I finally had a good outdoor photo shoot, thanks to my friend Drizzy. Besides having random men whistle at me and pull over their cars to gawk it was pretty fun. I love my neighborhood and hopefully I will get an opportunity to take more outside pics. I’ve had this blazer since July but haven’t really had any inspiration to wear it until….I was in Target and saw this striped tank while shopping. I immediately thought of this blazer and I love this look. Lately my looks have been really simple and easy, which is great while I am getting back in the flow of the new semester. So far so good, no complaints yet about working in a groups, lol. I am looking forward to this long weekend; my besties are coming down from D.C.! I can’t wait to just hang out, shop and have girl talk. Hope everyone…
