Food, Friends and Fellowship

I had a fantastic weekend! Ashley invited me to a ladies brunch this past Sunday at Elle’s in Miramar, FL. I don’t have many friends in Miami so I was excited to make some new acquaintances. I was also super hyped to meet Kerrisa from A Diva’s Moms Journey, she came down form West Palm Beach to attend the brunch. I enjoyed meeting Kerrisa, she is such a well spoken beautiful woman. Hopefully Ashley and I can make a trip to WPB to do some thrifting with her, she is a thrift star! All in all we had a great time and plan do meet-ups once a month. Ashley did a great job of making everyone feel welcome and even had ice breaker games for us to play and prizes for the winners. From the Mail Bag: Hair Questions Answered

I decided to do something a little different and I recorded a video answering the questions that Ms. Tia, asked me about my lace front wig and how I style it. (I hope I wasn’t too confusing. White After Labor Day

These pictures almost didn’t make the cut, thank goodness for Photoscape.  I spent most of my vacay couch surfing in my PJs, which was wonderful.  However I did packed a 50lb bag and figured I should throw something on and take some pictures.  My brothers condo complex has really great scenery, so it was a win-win situation.  However we really must work on his photography skills…let him tell it “I know what I am doing, you aren’t giving me anything to work with”, lol.  I had a great time visiting them as I usually do. Brooklynn is a doll and I can’t wait until she gets some size on her so I can go bananas buying super cute clothes for her.  My outfit was nothing special, all repeats from one time or another.
