Make it Werk: Dressy Joggers

| Blazer – Ebay | T Shirt – Old Navy | Joggers – NY & Co. | Purse – The Limited | | Sandals – Just Fab | Joggers are everywhere you look and after having this picture pinned for what seemed like forever, I found these joggers at NY and Co.  Not an exact replica but a good enough duplicate for me.  At first thought joggers seem a bit too casual for work. I felt like I was wearing pajamas’ all day but adding the over-sized blazer dressed them up a little. I also think the color, print, and material of the pants gave them as pass as well.  If I can find a longer yellow blazer, the one I have is cropped; I might do an inspiration recreation post with these pants. While I’m looking for a longer blazer I’ll probably have my seamstress take out the cuff…

For Curvy Girls Shopping at H&M

| Dress – H&M | Shoes – BCBG | Purse – TJ Maxx | I have come to rely on certain stores for no-brainier work clothes and H&M is one of those stores.  H&M is known for having structured blazers, beautiful dresses, whimsical skirts and sassy accessories.  Their prices are affordable and I find the clothing to be well made.  All of these things have lead me to purchase several clothing items from H&M over the years.  However, not with out trial and error. Sizing at H&M is European plan and simple, which causes me to size up on anything fitted.   I usually stay away from their pants unless they have generous stretch.  I love their selection of skirts, dresses and blazers which is what I usually end up bringing home.  I find that I have to remove the linings from their fitted dresses because they are always too…

   | Skirt – Goodwill | T Shirt – Old Navy | Shoes – Target | Necklace – H&M | Purse – Target | If I can thrift more $5 midi skirts like this one I will be in midi skirts and t-shirts all summer.  It’s so easy to just throw on any color combination and head out the door. I nabbed this beauty when I was in Raleigh, NC Memorial Day weekend.  Thanks to my blogging boo Ashley who let me know which spots to check out I walked away with this skirt and a pair of boyfriend jeans.  I can’t wait to share all the great items I picked up.  I shopped so much I had mail a box home because I couldn’t carry everything in my already over packed suit case.
