Before the new year, I decided that I would let go of all the pain and stress that was weighing on my spirit. I really felt like I was carrying around every bad experience I had in 2016.  I resolved to enter 2017 with a clear mind so I am able to focus on my own personal, professional and health goals.

However, instead of completely wiping the slate clean for 2017 I decided to improve upon all the experiences that helped me be a better sister, friend, blogger, aunt and daughter. My dedication to fitness, vegetarianism, blogging, and professional development will make recurring appearances this year.  It’s so easy to get caught on what’s being left behind at the start of a new year but let’s not forget about the good aspects that have made us who we are.
