My DIY skills are sub-par at best, but it if the project involves cutting and minimal sewing I’m game. I pulled out this outfit a couple of weekends ago for a mini-staycation and realized I had DIY’d every piece. My vest was a denim jacket; my crop top was a tank and my skirt use to be a maxi dress. No sewing involved just a few snips with my fabric scissors for a few cute transformations. Check out my tutorial on turning a denim jacket into a vest here.
This pics may look like I am on vacation but I just took a day to enjoy my city, which is good every once in a while. Happy Monday guys!

Cute!!! I've been looking for a crop top, I never thought to just make my own!
Hi there! I Googled "summer brunch outfits" for some inspiration and found one of your outfits through that search. I took a good look at the picture and thought, "I know my city when I see it." So happy to have come across another Miami blogger! 🙂
That jacket was a great Goodwill find. I love how you turned into a vest! Since it's such a trendy item right now denim vests can get rather pricey for the teeny bit of inexpensive fabric that it is. I love this DIY version!
