Super Easy DIY: Denim Vest

Hey guys! I found this great denim jacket at Goodwill yesterday for $5. I originally wanted it because I had been searching for a light color denim jacket. However, I became discouraged when I saw it was an extra small…but I figured what the hell I’m gonna try it on anyway…too small to wear as a jacket, lol. But never one to give up, I got a brilliant idea. Turn this baby into a cropped denim vest! That’s exactly what I did tonight! All you need is a really sharp pair of scissors, I used my fabric scissors. I cut the bulk of the sleeve off and then continued to cut off the excess on the shoulder seam, I kinda pushing the tip of the scissors under the seam cutting it really close. First Day of Summer

It’s the first day of summer, I completed my Applied Case Studies Management class and I got an A! Now I only have class on Monday’s and Saturday’s, so instead of staying home I decided I should go out and start out my summer at the movies. Summer movies are the best…here is my summer line up Bad Teacher, Transformers, Smurfs, Captain America and Friends with Benefits. What’s even better it’s only $6 on Tuesday, can’t beat that! My outfit is simple and casual, wearing a denim jacket to the movies is a must…it’s always freezing in the theater. So how are you guys starting out your summer’s? One dress One week Challenge Day 3

Day 3! Half way done. I knew I had to wear a blazer with this dress and I started out with my black and white striped H&M blazer I love sooooo much, but that seemed predictable. So I decided to switch it up and wear my striped belt and cream blazer. Instead of wearing the belt at my natural waist I have right up under my boobs for a high waisted look. I added my white and gold accessories and I think we have a winner today!
