| Dress – Gifted | Belt – Betsy Johnson | Shoes – Just Fab | Sunglasses – Target |

Don’t you love an outfit that has an amazing story behind it? So I was gifted this beautiful dress by Tasha of Imperfect Concepts.  After swooning over this Kate Spade dress for what seemed like forever and missing out on every possible dupe, I had given up.  Well, not really because a true fashionista on a mission never gives up but my search was on pause.

Tasha was generous enough to send me her Kate Spade dupe. I was over the moon when I received the dress in the mail.  After a quick trip to the seamstress to have the bodice taken in, this little lady was ready to be worn! This dress is nothing but lady like elegance at it’s best.  My Just Fab shoes seemed like the perfect compliment to my belt and while they are pretty, they hurt like HELL! Ugh, five inches of pure torture. However,  a little shoe pain wasn’t going to stop me from completing the perfect outfit.

I am also rocking a new do, if you follow me on Instagram and Facebook I am sure you’ve seen plenty of pictures already.  I absolutely love it and I think I am finally ready to step away from my lace wigs for awhile, I need a change.

  1. I love your outfit and your hair. I have been wearing an updo all summer to allow my hair the break of flat ironing and to try and grow it out. You look amazing. Blessings to you.

  2. Oh my gosh …. Just like you, I have been on a hunt for a black and white striped "Kate-Spade-look-alike" dress for a LONG time …..but everytime I find one it is either too short or not cut exactly like I want etc.
This one looks perfect. Would you share which brand it is or where she might have bought it? Thanks 🙂

  4. My church has come withs dress code because the dressing was getting out control. I admit I was so blind as well. Most people in my church have big bottoms, our Sundays had become whose backside is it going to be the one in the tightest jeans today.

It is only when we had women's meeting that our eyes were opened those poor men were being aroused in the church service. I beleive in keeping it all wrapped up and beautiful in less revealing clothes.

    Thank kisses from England London

  7. Hi Shea–I just wanted to comment–blogs like yours are rare and wonderful. I've been looking for more inspiration on dressing with style for work–and at a level that I could afford. You are lovely, stylish, and sensible. I really appreciate what you're doing. Keep doing what you're doing!–Abbey
