* Blazer – H&M * Tank – H&M * Jeans – Levis Curve ID * Booties – Guess * Purse – H&M *

I have wanted a yellow blazer
for the LONGEST time, and finally on a recent visit to H&M I found
one.  This blazer is such a bold statement piece which meshes well with my
love for black and white.  Ya’ll know I love wearing a cute blazer and I
believe my collection might be at 36 or 38.  Even when I think I have
every color imaginable I see a blazer that catches my eye and must come home
with me.

Having 38 blazers probably
seems crazy but I prefer clothing that can pull double duty (work and play) so
for me throwing on a blazer always seems to make my outfit complete.  Just
two years ago I probably owned one blazer which was reserved for job
interviews, lol.  I have changed so much since I have started blogging, it
amazes me sometimes.  I was that girl that always second guessed
everything I wore and would never try trends because I thought I was
was too curvy.  You wouldn’t dare catch me in anything bright…white
jeans, nope! Shorts, nope! A form fitting dress, HELL NO!  I am so glad I
grew out of that, blogging has really helped me find my self…Shea 2.0.   I
am really liking my new normal.

For those of you that blog
have you ever gone back to the beginning and noticed how far you have come from
where you started.  What is the one thing that you love about your
progression so far?

  2. I think that sounds like the perfect amount of blazers.  There are so many colors and patterns and fabrics of blazers these days–plus they go with EVERYTHING!!!!  I love your yellow one!

  3. You def seem to know what works for your body and you style well.  Love the yellow blazer.  I've been wanting to try the Levi Curve ID line, they look great on you.

Hello, what a cute outfit. I would like to try a more blazers too.

  5. My style has certainly evolved from being just Basic Betty wearing the latest NY&CO to being a little more bold and creative with my style. I still thrift for the same brands that I typically purchase retail, but I love when I find something vintage and unique.

FYI-My blazers have now spilled over to the closet in the guest room, I'm afraid to count how many I have : )

Great look! I love that blazer and the fringe bag! I think as a blogger, I notice and am proud of my style journey. I'm more apt to try different colors and styles without second guessing myself. Blogging has made me more adventurous with fashion for sure!

…I can't help but agree with you Shea. Though I post polyvore sets only, I must admit I have come along way since I started. I had always played it safe with colours; had everything in darker hues and "safer" trends. My brightest must have been white vests ONLY.
Nowadays I walk into a clothing store and the colors dont dictate whether "we" are going home. I have stocked brighter, happier colors such that a friend thought I was dating someone new – in a way she was – I was dating the new me and loving her.
So yeah! here is to the 2.0 version of all ladies out here who have re-invented themselves and are loving it….
