On Trend: Draped Front Jacket

| Belted Trench – c/o Shein | Bodysuit – F21 |Ankle Trousers – Express | Booties – Boutique 9 | Long Draped Front Jacket The weather in Miami has been very fickle lately.  For the past two weeks, it’s been cold off and on, which has given me several opportunities to wear my cute winterish clothes.  Of course winterish really just means long sleeves and closed-toe shoes.  This long draped front jacket is functional and dramatic.  It keeps the chill away and makes me feel like I have a diva fan on me every time the breeze blows. Natural and Fashionable You guys probably can’t tell from these pictures but I absolutely feel like a natural hair rockstar.  Monisha, my stylish (IG: hairstylist_monisha) re-awakens my personal style every time she does my hair.  It’s almost as if I am dressing to match the perfection that she has created.  An amazing…

Photo Diary: Wynwood Art District

One of my goals this year is to get out more and actually enjoy South Florida.  I live in an amazingly beautiful city that I don’t explore enough.  Of course, I know where to go shopping, who has the best brunch and where to get a good drink.  However, I’ve never eaten a meal in Little Havana, or explored the murals in Little Haiti, nor have I traveled down to South Miami. Have you already decided what you are going to do with the 365 opportunities you have this year? Do you make resolutions or set goals? “I think in terms of the day’s resolutions, not the year’s.” – Henry Moore Before the new year, I decided that I would let go of all the pain and stress that was weighing on my spirit. I really felt like I was carrying around every bad experience I had in 2016.  I resolved to enter 2017 with a clear mind so I am able to focus on my own personal, professional and health goals. However, instead of completely wiping the slate clean for 2017 I decided to improve upon all the experiences that helped me be a better sister, friend, blogger, aunt and daughter.…

Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having a great 2017 so far. I am feeling very refreshed and clear after a much-needed vacation. With everything that was happening the last few weeks of the year, I didn’t get around to posting a few outfits. Of course, I can’t let…
