I have a small confession to make, I’ve had this dress for over a year and this is my first time wearing it *hangs head in shame*.  I don’t know why I waited so long to wear this stunner, which I purchased from Ross spring of last year, see the original post here.  It really was love at first sight when I purchased the dress but after getting the dress home I found the bold print to be a bit intimidating.  I was also unsure about wearing such a bold and vibrant print to work but I figured what the hell, I am always overdressed anyway.

I also didn’t have any shoes that complimented this dress until I found these cuties from GoJane.  Which were discovered during one of my many shoe shopping text conversations with Kerrisa aka KT’s Diva Mom.  I immediately decided on the green and gold pair, completely uncertain as to how and what I would wear them.  I think it was meant to because they look stunning with my floral dress and my favorite magenta purse which you guys are probably tired of seeing! Lol.

I believe the wait was worth it because this outfit came together beautifully.  Do you hold on to new clothes waiting for the perfect combination to come together or do you wear new items immediately?

Such a pretty girly look!! Love everything about this look!!!!

  3. Love the look! I won't lie; I get a bit intimidated by the bold prints sometimes too. And yes, it makes sense to wait until everything comes together perfectly rather than just throw on some basic black pumps.

  6. Okay, I have only been following you for a few months but I have to say that this is by far my favorite outfit. It just flows together. It's light and airy. Yes, I buy stuff and it will sit in my closet until I feel the need to wear. Right now I have a flowy flowery dress from Simply Be Au Paris collection that has been sitting in my closet since April. I have learned that if I am really moved by something that I better get it because it won't be there when I go back. I don't think it matters when you wear it as long as it wear it. Great job! You are so gorgeous!

I have a habit of saving clothes for the right occasion, but I'm tired of doing that. I refuse to worry if I am overdressed especially when it comes to work. How is KT's Diva Mom? We used to talk all the time via Twitter before I deleted all my social media. Does she still blog?
